Hens and chicks
I think I am happier on the days when the sempervivum in the front-door garden look good. Right now they have this jewel like quality to them; like aquamarine & amethyst.
Ken and I picked most of these up on a very rainy expedition to Jim Glover’s in Cutchoque, NY. My favorite of the bunch has to be the extremely girly ‘Purple Beauty’. I bet they would look great nestled in a fall bride’s bouquet or scattered along a simple linen runner for an impromptu dinner party.
