Nature Contained

Waking up to a 55 degree morning is pretty wonderful. I have felt a little sluggish this week and was really itching to go on a long wooded walk. The morning got even better when my dear friend and fellow Four Corners merchant Bruce Winn, of Roseberry-Winn Pottery, decided to come along. We trekked around the 400 acre Simmons Mill Pond Preserve in Little Compton, chatted about upcoming projects and took in all the fun sensory pleasures like stepping on crinkled leaves and listening to the wind blow through the pampas grass.

The cut silvery pampas grass heads would look great in some of Bruce's vessels.
